✓ Verified listing · Official Seychelles Tourism registerParadise Sun sits right on the beach at Anse Volbert, or Côte d'Or, the main resort beach on the north coast of Praslin. It is a beachfront hotel of around eighty rooms, recently renovated, and it holds 4.5 stars from more than seven hundred reviews. A long white beach at the front door and a relaxed, well-run feel are what guests come back to.
The rooms were recently renovated and guests single them out, well designed, with thoughtful touches and ocean views, a real step up. The hotel is built around its beachfront, with well-kept gardens and a dining area at the edge of the sand, and the dinners get a lot of praise for their variety, with a different themed menu each night. It is a comfortable, unfussy base for a beach holiday on Praslin.
Service and the beach are the strongest themes in the reviews. Guests describe warm, helpful, attentive staff wherever they turn, and the hotel lays on activities so there is always something to do. Eating with the sand under your feet, a few steps from the water, is the kind of detail people remember.
Anse Volbert, or Côte d'Or, is the liveliest beach on Praslin, a long sheltered bay with calm water, safe for swimming, and the launch point for many of the island's boat trips. Shops, dive centres and restaurants line the bay, and Anse Lazio and the Vallée de Mai are both a short drive away. For a freshly renovated beachfront hotel on one of Praslin's best beaches, with good food and warm service, it is one we are glad to recommend.

We stayed at the Paradise Sun Hotel in the middle of April. It was absolutely wonderful. The rooms (which apparently were recently renovated) were incredible. Very nicely renovated with excellent thoughtful touches, and well designed. As a family of 4 we had 2 rooms that connected via the balcony which was excellent, f

A hotel with great bones and a fantastic location right on the beach. The rooms are well-appointed with lovely ocean views, and the beachfront setting is one of the property's strongest assets. The dining experience was notably good—the dinners impressed us with different themed menus each night, offering variety and q

Only one thing that needs improvement or rework is their check-out time as it is at

A beautiful, picture-perfect hotel. But what really made our stay special was the staff. No matter where in the resort, no matter what time of day, or who you interacted with - every member of the staff was more than friendly, courteous, and helpful. It’s rare to be treated with such incredible warmth and attentiveness

5/5 – Wonderful beachfront stay The hotel was absolutely lovely, with a beautiful location right on the beach. The garden and overall hotel compound are very well maintained and add to the relaxing atmosphere. We especially loved the dining area at the edge of the beach—the sand floor was a really nice touch and made

Anse Volbert, also called Côte d'Or, is the main beach on the north coast of Praslin and the busiest, sociable part of the island, a long curve of pale sand with calm, shallow water that is safe and easy for children. A run of shops, dive centres and casual restaurants lines the road behind the sand, and a small island sits just offshore that you can swim or snorkel out to. Many of the island's boat trips, to Curieuse, Saint Pierre and La Digue, set off from here, and Anse Lazio and the Vallée de Mai palm forest are both a short drive away. Praslin is reached by a quick flight or the fast ferry from Mahé, and a hire car or the island bus makes getting around easy.
