It could not be simpler. When you book, you send us your hotel, your arrival date and your flight number. We confirm a fixed price and your driver. On the day, we watch your flight, so if it lands early or late your driver is already there.

How long is the drive from the airport?
The airport is central on Mahé’s east coast, so most transfers are short. Approximate driving times for a private car:

Route guides: Beau Vallon, the south, and on to Praslin
Three arrivals cover most of our guests. Here is exactly what each one looks like, from the moment you walk out of the hall.
Airport to Beau Vallon: from €30, 14.4 km, about 45 min
Beau Vallon is the island’s main beach and the busiest transfer we do. The car heads north on the East Coast Road, skirts Victoria, then climbs the St Louis hill road and drops down to the bay on the other side. It is about 14.4 km and you should allow about 45 min, less late at night. The Super Budget fare is €30 one way, the Van €55 and VIP €150, to any hotel on the bay: Savoy, STORY, Coral Strand, Berjaya, Le Méridien Fisherman’s Cove at Bel Ombre, and the guesthouses behind the beach road. Hilton Northolme, Bliss and Carana are a few minutes further along the north coast at the same €30 Super Budget fare, allow about 50 min.
Arriving on a Wednesday? Beau Vallon’s night market, Bazar Labrin, runs on the beach road in the evening and the traffic through the bay is slow, so allow ten minutes more. Need cash or a SIM card? Say so and the driver stops at Victoria on the way through, no charge.
Airport to the south resorts: from €40, about an hour
Four Seasons at Petite Anse, Kempinski at Baie Lazare, Banyan Tree at Intendance, Canopy by Hilton at Anse à la Mouche, Anantara Maia at Anse Louis and Mango House at Anse aux Poules Bleues all sit on the south and south-west coast, across the mountains from the airport. The car runs south on the East Coast Road through Anse aux Pins and Anse Royale, then crosses the island on the Anse Royale road to Baie Lazare, or continues round through Quatre Bornes for Takamaka and Intendance. The Super Budget fare is €40 to every one of them. Four Seasons is 18.8 km and about 1 hour; Kempinski 17.9 km and about 55 min; Banyan Tree 18.1 km and about 1 hour; Canopy 13.4 km and about 45 min; Anantara Maia 12.0 km and about 40 min.
The south is the one zone where the Van costs more, €65 instead of €55, because of the extra hill road. VIP stays at €150 flat. Most of these resorts are up private drives with a gate; give us the hotel name and the driver takes you to the lobby, not the gate.
Airport to Praslin and La Digue: €25 to the ferry, then the catamaran
We do not drive on Praslin or La Digue, and no road transfer does: they are separate islands. What we do is the Mahé leg, and we time it to your sailing. From the airport it is 10.8 km and about 30 min to the Inter-Island Ferry Quay in Victoria, €25 in the Super Budget car, €55 in the Van. The Cat Cocos fast catamaran then takes about an hour to Praslin (from €62 per person), and the Praslin to La Digue boat about 15 minutes more (from €16). On Praslin, licensed taxis wait at the Baie Sainte Anne jetty for the hotel run; on La Digue you walk, cycle or take the hotel’s vehicle.
Timing rule: land, clear immigration and bags (allow up to an hour on a busy evening), 30 minutes on the road, and be at the quay 30 minutes before departure. If your flight lands too late for the last sailing we can drop you at a Victoria or Eden Island hotel for the night and take you to the quay in the morning, €25 each leg. The other way to Praslin is the 15-minute domestic flight from the same airport, which needs no transfer at all. Luxury airport transfers, and the Van for families
A luxury airport transfer in the Seychelles is €150 flat, to any hotel on Mahé, in our VIP car, a black Porsche Cayenne, with the same meet and greet, flight tracking and name board. There is no per-kilometre extra and no night rate. It is the right car for a honeymoon arrival, a proposal, or simply a long flight you want to end well. Families and groups of up to five with five suitcases take the Van at €55 (€65 to the south). Larger parties get two cars, quoted together. Transfer now, or drive yourself?
A transfer is the easy choice for arrival day. You are tired from flying, it is your first time on the left of the road, and the last thing you want is to find a car park in the dark. Let a driver take you to the hotel and start the holiday properly.
Once you have found your feet, a rental car is the best way to reach the quiet beaches and viewpoints on your own time. Many guests do both, a transfer on arrival and a car delivered to the hotel a day or two later. We arrange either, or both, with no booking fee.
Transfer, taxi or bus from the airport?
All three work, and it comes down to comfort and timing. A private transfer is a fixed price with a driver waiting at arrivals and help with your bags. A taxi is similar but negotiated at the rank and thinner on the ground late at night. The public bus is very cheap but slow, with luggage limits and no service after early evening.
