The beach we don't name
Every beach in Seychelles is public by law, so nobody can own one. This cove is private in practice because there is no way onto the sand except across the private property behind it, and granite headlands close both ends. On your afternoon nobody else is there. The season decides which one shines. From December to March the south and east coasts are the calm side, which is Anse Bazarca's moment. From May to September the north and west settle, which favours Maia and the north cove. Tell us your date and we will tell you which beach that month favours.

How much does a wedding on Mahé cost?
Our all-inclusive Mahé Luxury Wedding Package is currently €1,645 per couple, reduced from the regular €1,920. It includes the official registrar, Marriage Certificate, Supreme Court apostille, all government fees, a chauffeur-driven wedding car, welcome drinks, a bamboo gazebo or arch, the reception table and Creole chairs, a shell for the rings, bouquet, customised cake and sparkling wine.
Is a Mahé beach wedding legally recognised internationally?
Yes. Your ceremony is a civil marriage conducted by Seychelles' official registrar, and your Marriage Certificate carries an apostille from the Supreme Court of Seychelles under the Hague Convention. Recognition abroad and any additional attestation depend on the receiving country.
Why do most couples marry on Mahé rather than Praslin or La Digue?
Around 95% of our couples choose Mahé. The international airport, the Civil Status Office, the Supreme Court, the photographers and all wedding vendors are on this island, which makes logistics simpler, timing safer and the overall experience calmer. Mahé also has over sixty beaches, so there is always a sheltered, beautiful option whatever the season.
How long do we need to be in Seychelles before the wedding?
Send us scanned documents at least 14 days before the date, since the law requires the marriage banns to be published for 11 days. Most couples arrive a few days early to settle in. On a tighter schedule, a special licence can be issued within 2 days for a small fee, which is how our express weddings work.
Do we need to bring witnesses?
No. If you're eloping as just the two of you, we provide the legally required witnesses.

We hold ceremonies on four hand-picked Mahé beaches. Anse Bazarca in the wild south, the elegant Maia Beach on the sunset coast, the classic granite-framed Baie Lazare Beach, and a truly private beach in the north of the island that we keep secret until you book. We recommend the right one for your date based on season, tide and light.
Can we have a truly private beach wedding on Mahé?
Yes. Every beach in Seychelles is public by law, so nobody can own one. Can we say our own vows?
Yes. The legal ceremony with the registrar takes about 20 minutes, and your own vows fit inside it. Many couples read them from a card or a phone.
When is the best time of year for a Mahé wedding?
Mahé is a year-round wedding destination. April, May, October and November typically bring the calmest seas and softest light. From December to March the south and east coasts are the calm side, and from May to September it is the north and west. Because the island has beaches facing every direction, we can find a sheltered ceremony spot in any month.
What time is sunset on Mahé?
Between roughly 6:00 and 6:45 in the evening depending on the month. Seychelles sits close to the equator, so the sun drops fast. The golden light everyone wants in their photographs starts about an hour before sunset.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Tropical showers here are usually short, so the first plan is simply to wait it out together. We talk through the fallback with you before the day, and your coordinator watches the sky so you do not have to.
Photos, films and extras
How much do a photographer and wedding film cost on Mahé?
A local photographer is €550 and a professional wedding photographer is €850, both a 2-hour shoot with €150 per extra hour, RAW files and your language on request, and you receive 270 to 300 naturally edited photographs from the two hour shoot. A cinematographic wedding film starts from €1,290 and includes cinematic drone footage that is otherwise €125. A scenic helicopter flight over Mahé can be added for €490.
Can our family and friends come?
Of course. The package is priced for the two of you. Tell us how many guests are coming and we plan the chairs, refreshments and transfers around them in your quote.
