✓ Verified listing · Official Seychelles Tourism registerBerjaya Praslin Beach sits right on the sand at Anse Volbert, the long curve of pale beach on Praslin's north coast that most people picture when they think of the island. The location is the thing guests come back to first, a hotel you can walk out of straight onto the beach, with the water and the island boats a few steps from your room. It is one of the highest rated hotels in the whole country, a full 4.9 stars from more than four thousand Google reviews, which is rare for a property of this size.
It is a relaxed, unfussy resort of seventy-four rooms rather than a polished five-star, with two restaurants, a bar and an outdoor pool set among the palms. Rooms are comfortable and many look out to the sea, though the stock is mixed and some of the older categories feel more dated than the renovated ones, so it is worth asking what you are being given at check-in. What guests describe again and again is how easy and calm the whole place feels, right by the beach and exactly what you want in Seychelles.
The service is what lifts the stay. The front desk is known for helping guests plan the island properly, pointing them to the right beaches and the good value trips, holding luggage after checkout, and treating people with a warmth that shows up in review after review. Anse Volbert is also where a lot of the island's activities begin, so having a team that knows how to arrange them well makes a real difference.
Praslin is the second largest island and the base for the Vallée de Mai, the palm forest where the coco de mer grows, and for the boats to La Digue and the smaller islands. Anse Volbert puts you in the middle of it, with shops, dive centres and restaurants along the bay and Anse Lazio a short drive away. For a beachfront hotel with an unbeatable location and service that people clearly love, this is one we are glad to recommend.

Excellent service from Bilal. He helped us with everything and was always helpful on WhatsApp. Thanks to him we got to know a lot of beautiful places. He saved us a lot of money with tips for cheap trips, some completely free. He even offered us to borrow his bus card, in the end we didn't need it because he showed me

Because of him, we were able to see the best of the island stress free and cost effectively.

The hotel itself is very charming. We stayed in a Family Deluxe, which was quite dated with old plumbing. Strangely enough, our friends had a cheaper Deluxe room that felt much more modern. Our shower was just a drain in the floor with a cheap curtain. I’d give the room itself 2 stars, not 3. As for the service: the r

Anse Volbert, also called Côte d'Or, is the main resort beach on the north coast of Praslin, a long sheltered bay with calm, shallow water that is good for swimming and the launch point for boat trips to Curieuse, Saint Pierre and La Digue. There are shops, dive centres, a handful of restaurants and a small island just offshore that you can snorkel out to. The Vallée de Mai, the UNESCO palm forest where the coco de mer grows, is about fifteen minutes inland, and Anse Lazio, regularly named one of the best beaches in the world, is a short drive north. Praslin is reached by a quick flight or the fast ferry from Mahé, and a hire car or the island bus makes getting around easy.
