Guesthouse · Anse Reunion, La Digue
★★★★★ 4.7 (36 Google reviews)
✓ Verified listing · Official Seychelles Tourism registerChalets de Palma, once known as Birgo Guest House, sits in Anse Réunion on La Digue. The bungalows are clean, comfortable and roomy, and guests describe the setting as a calm little retreat that still keeps most of the island within easy reach. Rooms are kept simple, yet they hold everything a traveller tends to need for a relaxed few days.
The property is run by the same family that owns the nearby Calou guesthouse, and that shapes the stay in a practical way. Check-in and breakfast both happen over at Calou, so the two places work as one. Because it is a family business, several guests found it easy to get to know their hosts. Tahiri handles the day-to-day, and reviewers call her super organised, hard working and always reachable for questions.
Breakfast is a real strength. It is served as a proper B&B start to the day, with a spread of local fruits and eggs cooked the way each guest likes them. Each bungalow comes with a mini-fridge and a kettle, and arriving guests are met with a welcome drink. There is a pool as well, a good size for cooling off and relaxing rather than swimming laps.
The rating sits at 4.7 across 36 reviews, which lines up with what guests report. Expect straightforward, well-kept rooms rather than anything lavish, and a location that leans on quiet and convenience over resort extras. Several local shops are a short walk away for water and soft drinks, which suits the self-directed pace most visitors keep on La Digue.

We had a really lovely stay here. The place was super cozy, clean, and felt very welcoming. The breakfast was amazing and a great start to the day. Tahiri was incredibly kind and caring — my mom fell off a bike and she immediately brought ice and helped us, making sure she was okay. We truly appreciated the support and

We stayed 3 nights and had such a great time here! Chalets de Palma is actually owned by the same family of the Calou guesthouse, so check in and breakfast are done there. Since it is a family business it was nice to have the opportunity of knowing our hosts better. Our room was simple but had all you might need, and a

Chalets de Palma sits between the town and the forest region of La Digue, close enough to Anse Réunion life yet backed by greenery. La Digue is reached by ferry from Praslin, and the island is small enough to cross by bike, which is how most guests get around. Tahiri looks after visitors closely. One reviewer described her bringing ice and helping straight away after the guest's mother fell off a bike, a small moment that says a lot about the care here. With check-in and breakfast handled at the sister Calou guesthouse a short distance off, it helps to know both addresses before arrival.
