✓ Verified listing · Official Seychelles Tourism registerPension Michel is a small, family-run hotel at Anse Réunion, on La Digue, an intimate place of around eight rooms in a well-kept garden. It holds 4.6 stars from more than one hundred and seventy reviews. Spotless rooms with a private porch, a fresh generous breakfast and genuinely warm hosts are what guests come back to.
The rooms are immaculate and comfortable, each with a private porch that is perfect for unwinding after a day of cycling around the island, and the whole property is well maintained. Breakfast is fresh and generous each morning, everything is smoothly organised, including pickup from the port, and free laundry is a welcome bonus for travellers. It is a simple, well-run guesthouse-hotel rather than a resort, in an ideal central spot.
The welcome is the heart of the reviews. The staff are described as genuinely warm and kind, and guests write of a place that is perfectly organised and spotless from arrival to departure. One honest note, when it rains heavily the lane can flood, so it is worth taking the shuttle from the jetty rather than walking. It is the warmth and the care that guests remember.
Anse Réunion is on the west coast of La Digue, close to the main village of La Passe and the jetty where the ferries arrive, a handy central base on this small, mostly car-free island where bicycles set the pace. The island's famous beaches, above all Anse Source d'Argent with its pink sand and granite boulders, are a short ride away, along with L'Union Estate. La Digue is reached by a short ferry from Praslin or Mahé. For a spotless, warmly run small hotel in a central spot on La Digue, Pension Michel is one we are glad to recommend.

We checked in to stay at Pension Michel for 2 nights. We decided we were going to walk from the ferry to the hotel but as it had been raining the roads were flooded on the way to Pension Michel along with the reception area so make sure you do take the shuttle service otherwise you have to go through rivers to get here

Anse Réunion runs along the west coast of La Digue, a short walk or cycle from La Passe, the main village, and the jetty where the ferries dock, so the island's shops, cafés and bicycle-hire stands are close at hand. La Digue is small and largely car-free, and a bicycle is all you need, with the whole island within a gentle ride. Just to the south lie L'Union Estate, the old plantation with its giant tortoises, and Anse Source d'Argent, one of the most photographed beaches in the world, with its shallow turquoise water, pink sand and huge granite boulders, while Grand Anse and Petite Anse are on the wilder east coast. La Digue is reached by a short ferry from Praslin, or a longer crossing from Mahé, with bicycles for hire by the jetty.
