Anse Réunion is the settled heart of La Digue's west coast, just south of the ferry jetty at La Passe, where most of the island's guesthouses, shops and bike-hire places cluster. Everything on La Digue moves at bicycle pace, and from here you can pedal to L'Union Estate and Anse Source d'Argent in minutes, or push a little further to the wilder beaches of the south and east. The ferry from Praslin takes about fifteen minutes, and with almost no cars the loudest sound is usually birdsong.
