More About the Stay
The rooms range from garden rooms to beach houses just steps from the sea, and guests single out the beachfront ones for their position and the views. The lodge has a pool, a restaurant and a bar, and breakfast is generally included.
The warmest reviews are about the people and the setting. Guests describe friendly, welcoming staff and some of the most beautiful sunsets of their trip, watched from a beach house a few metres from the water. For that beachfront position on La Digue, many find it well worth it.
La Digue is the most peaceful of the main islands, reached by ferry from Praslin or Mahé and crossed almost entirely by bicycle. Anse Réunion is on the west coast, close to the jetty at La Passe and a short ride from Anse Source d'Argent, the famous beach of pink granite boulders. For a beachfront lodge in an unbeatable spot on La Digue, with the island's slow pace right outside, it is worth a look.

What Guests Say
We had a very beautiful stay at La Digue Island Lodge and would definitely recommend it. We stayed in a beach house just about 20 metres from the beach, and the location was truly special. The view was absolutely stunning, across the ocean towards Praslin and Mahé, and we enjoyed some of the most beautiful sunsets th
I had a wonderful stay at La Digue Island Lodge and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the island. From the moment I arrived, Miss Marsha made me feel incredibly welcome she was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed throughout my stay. The bar staff were equally impressive. Calvin
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We stayed in a Standard Garden Room for five nights, and it was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were kind and friendly. We also had breakfast included, and we were a bit worried (based on some reviews) that the food might run out quickly and not be refilled. Howev

The Area
Anse Réunion runs along the west coast of La Digue, a short and level bicycle ride from the ferry jetty at La Passe, the island's one small village. It is close to the heart of things, with shops, a few restaurants and bicycle hire nearby, while the beach itself looks west across the water to Praslin, which makes it one of the best places on the island to watch the sun set. A short ride south leads to Anse Source d'Argent, the beach of pink granite and shallow turquoise water that is among the most photographed anywhere, and to L'Union Estate. La Digue is crossed by bicycle and ox-cart rather than car, and the ferry reaches Praslin in about fifteen minutes.
