Self-catering · Anse Reunion, La Digue
★★★★★ 4.6 (60 Google reviews)
✓ Verified listing · Official Seychelles Tourism registerChalets d'Anse Réunion, formerly known as Chez Nora, is a small set of individual self-catering chalets at Anse Réunion on La Digue, and it holds a lovely 4.6 from around sixty guests. One family travelling with a five-year-old called it the best accommodation of their whole Seychelles trip, and the recurring picture is of a spotlessly clean, nicely decorated place where guests are welcomed on arrival with fresh flowers cut from the garden.
The chalets themselves are private and comfortable. Each is a standalone unit, described as feeling spacious for a couple and well suited to a small family, with a fully functioning kitchen, a great shower, a balcony and everything you need for an easy self-catering stay. Breakfast is a lovely touch, served each morning in your own living room, and the whole property is kept meticulously clean throughout the stay.
The hosting is warm and genuinely personal. Reviewers describe the hosts, led by Hugues, and the lady at reception as super nice, gentle and helpful, to the point that they feel like part of the family. Guests recall having their bags kept safe before check-in and after check-out, being offered fruit and looked after every day, and being helped to rent a bicycle whenever they needed one.
The location strikes a happy balance. The chalets sit just off the main path, so the setting is quiet and green, yet everything is close, only about a five minute walk from the jetty and near the beach, with the town-centre shops and restaurants an easy walk or cycle away. Between the spotless chalets, the in-room breakfast, the caring hosts and the peaceful-yet-central position, the 4.6 rating is honestly and affectionately earned.

This individual chalet is very convenient and very well located, close to the small town center with all needed shops and restaurants at walking or biking distance. Anse Réunion is the green, settled stretch of La Digue just south of the ferry village of La Passe, and the chalets sit on one of its quiet lanes, just off the main path. That is much of the appeal, you get the hush and shade of a leafy back street while remaining only a few minutes' walk from the jetty, the shops and the beach. A little further south lies the old L'Union Estate, with its coconut plantation, giant tortoises and the path down to Anse Source d'Argent, one of the most photographed beaches in the world, and the whole car-free island, from the calm western beaches to the wild sweep of Grand Anse in the east, is easily explored by bicycle. The Praslin ferry takes about fifteen minutes.
