It is a boutique property of just ten rooms, right on the seafront, with its own pool, bar and a restaurant that has become a destination in its own right. An intimate, stylish feel and a front-row seat for the sunset are what guests come for.
The rooms are stylish and clean, done in a modern beach style, and guests single out the seafront rooms for their terraces and the view. Being right on the water, evenings are spent watching the stars over a cocktail from the pool bar, and in the morning you can see the fishermen come in with the catch. Bikes to explore the island are available at the hotel, which is central to everything on La Digue.
The restaurant is the other half of the story. Guests call it some of the best food on La Digue, and it draws outside diners as much as guests, so a dinner reservation is essential given how few seats there are. Breakfast is served à la carte, and the cocktails by the pool and the sea get a mention in review after review. The service throughout is warm and genuinely welcoming.

The hotel is simply amazing - it's small and has a cozy boutique-y feel about it. Le Nautique is located at waterfront with great view, their own swimming pool and bar. We spent lovely evenings watching the stars and drinking great cocktails. The rooms are comfortable and the food was the best we tried on La Digue. The

La Passe is the one village on La Digue, the small, walkable centre by the ferry jetty where the island's shops, restaurants, clinic and bicycle hire are gathered. Almost everything on La Digue is a short and level bicycle ride from here, which makes it the natural base for exploring the island. A little to the south lies Anse Source d'Argent, the beach of pink granite boulders and shallow turquoise water that is among the most photographed anywhere, reached through the L'Union Estate, and the quiet north-coast coves are an easy ride the other way. La Digue is crossed by bicycle and ox-cart rather than car, and the ferry connects it to Praslin in about fifteen minutes and to Mahé in around an hour.
