Cleanest place in all Praslin, calm, ideal for à family with kids. But beach is very windy on that side of the island. Not good for swimming. They have two turtles on the site! Simple but good breakfast, Ashley is adorable and very helpful. We liked everything.

Amitié sits on the west side of Praslin, close to the island's small airstrip and a short hop from the long beach at Grand Anse. It is a calm, residential part of the island rather than a tourist strip, which suits a quiet stay. Praslin's headline sights, the palm forest of the Vallée de Mai and the celebrated beaches of Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, are all a reasonable drive away, and the Côte d'Or restaurants line the north coast. A hire car or the island bus makes getting around straightforward.
