La Passe is the beating centre of La Digue, and this property puts the ferry jetty, the shops and the ATMs within a short walk. There are no real distances to cover here. Guests described watching cyclists and pedestrians on the road below, which is how the island moves, since most visitors rent a bicycle rather than a car. Getting here means the ferry from Praslin, roughly fifteen minutes across, or a longer crossing from Mahé via Praslin. Once you step off the boat you are almost there on foot. A bike is worth hiring to reach the wider beaches, but for daily needs everything sits close at hand.
