Cerf Island is one of the small granite islands in the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, a short boat ride off Victoria on the east side of Mahé, so it is private and quiet while staying close to the main island. The marine park all around is protected water, calm and full of fish, excellent for snorkelling straight off the beach, and the neighbouring islands can be visited by boat. Across the water are Victoria, the beaches of Mahé and the airport, all close by. For a peaceful island retreat in a marine park off Mahé, L'Habitation des Cerfs is one we are glad to recommend.

This is a secluded island and perfect getaway if you looking to unwind and relax without any crowds. The beach is more for snorkeling. The resort is extremely comfortable.

An amazing retreat and lovely staff at that. It is on an island though, which makes it slightly off. If however, you want rest and peace, it is highly recommended. Somewhat expensive though. Cerf Island is one of the small granite islands in the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, the cluster of green islands just off Victoria on the east side of Mahé, reached by a short boat transfer from Eden Island. It is low-key and largely car-free, home to a couple of small hotels and restaurants, and it feels secluded while staying only minutes from the main island. The marine park all around is protected water, calm and rich in fish and coral, ideal for snorkelling from the beach, and the neighbouring islands of Sainte Anne, Round Island and Moyenne can be visited by boat. Across the water are Victoria, the small capital, the beaches of Mahé and the international airport, all within about half an hour. Mahé is the main island, and the boat transfer to Cerf is part of the experience.
