✓ Verified listing · Official Seychelles Tourism registerKempinski Seychelles Resort sits on a near perfect cove at Baie Lazare, on the quieter south-west coast of Mahé, and the setting is the first thing people mention. A crescent of sheltered beach, calm water and a hillside of greenery behind it, described by guests as picture perfect. It is a genuine upscale resort, 4.7 stars from more than four thousand reviews, and one of the most established international names on the island.
The resort runs to a hundred and fifty rooms and villas spread up the hillside, with several restaurants including Café Lazare and Windsong, part of which sits right on the sand, a spa, a dive centre, tennis courts and a large pool. There is enough space and enough on site that many guests never feel the need to leave, and the cove itself is calm and swimmable in a way that suits families as well as couples.
What comes through in the reviews is the service, a warm, genuinely friendly team across the restaurants, the beach and the front desk who make guests feel welcome from the first day. The resort is also popular with Seychellois themselves for a day pass, which is a good local sign, breakfast, the pool, the beach and the loungers all included for the day.
Baie Lazare is on the south-west of Mahé, a part of the island known for its beaches and its calm, about forty minutes from the airport and Victoria by car. Some of the finest beaches on the island, Anse Intendance and Petite Anse among them, are close by, and the resort's own cove is one of the prettiest on this coast. For a polished, family-friendly resort with a beautiful setting and service people rate highly, it is an easy one to recommend.

I had a great experience at the hotel today. The receptionist, Ezra, was friendly and welcoming. At Café Lazare, from the warm welcome to the attentive and professional service throughout, the staff—Nelly, Mercia, Sandeep, Rose, Amelie, Emma, and Chef Norita—were all very friendly, kind, and efficient, and made sure w

My group of friends came for the day pass. It was worth every penny. We had a delicious breakfast buffet. We had access to the pool, the beach, the beach chairs with towels, showers, a restaurant, bar, and just the entire beautiful property. Baie Lazare sits on the south-west coast of Mahé, one of the calmer and greener parts of the main island, about forty minutes by car from the airport and Victoria. The coast here holds some of the best beaches in the country, with Anse Intendance, Petite Anse and Anse Soleil all within a short drive, and the water on this side is clear and good for swimming and snorkelling. There is a scattering of small restaurants and shops nearby, and the craft village and the artist studios of the area are worth an afternoon. Mahé is the main island, with the widest choice of beaches, restaurants and things to do, and a hire car is the easy way to reach them.
