✓ Verified listing · Official Seychelles Tourism registerIsland Bungalow is a small set of self-catering bungalows and villas at Anse Sévère, on the quiet north-west coast of La Digue near one of the island's prettiest beaches. It is an intimate place of around six units, and it holds an excellent 4.6 stars from more than one hundred and ten reviews. Cosy, well-equipped bungalows, an authentic, natural setting close to the beach and hosts guests adore are what fill the reviews.
The bungalows and villas, named individually like Villa Kara and the Fredy house, are described as cosy, clean, spacious and well stocked with everything you need, a real home away from home. The setting is authentic and green, only a short way from a beautiful beach and an easy ride from the village, and good bicycles can be rented right there, which is how you get around this car-light island. Guests write of calm, natural surroundings and everything you could need for a stay in paradise.
The hosting is what guests remember most. Kemi, the woman of the house, is named with real warmth again and again, gentle, kind and helpful, making guests feel at home from the first step through the door and cooking a breakfast people rave about, and Sachin and the team share that same easy, generous hospitality. Several call it the best guesthouse they have ever stayed in. It is that heartfelt welcome that lifts the stay.
Anse Sévère is a quiet, pretty beach on the north-west coast of La Digue, a short ride north of the main village of La Passe on the flat coast road, with soft sand, granite boulders and calm, shallow water that is good for a swim and for snorkelling when conditions are right. It is one of the island's most relaxed stretches, close to the harbour and shops of La Passe and on the way to the northern coves of Anse Patate, and a short ride from L'Union Estate and the famous Anse Source d'Argent. La Digue is a slow, largely car-free island where the bicycle is king, and the ferry links it to Praslin and Mahé. For an authentic, beach-close self-catering stay with warm hosts at Anse Sévère, Island Bungalow is one we are glad to recommend.

The best guest house I've ever been. The host was very kind, helpful and I've received the best hospitality. The breakfast was amazing, combined with a great view, calmed environment and everyone's willing to give information about the island I've managed to walk through all this beautiful place!
