Mare Anglaise is a flat stretch of the north-west coast, and Harmony sits within a few minutes' level walk of Beau Vallon, the busiest and most social beach on Mahé. That puts restaurants, shops and the beach itself within easy reach on foot, with no hill to climb. The airport is roughly a 45 to 50 minute drive across the island, and Victoria, the capital, is about 15 minutes away by road. Guests praised the free, safe parking right outside, so a hire car works well here and the owners help arrange one. A car or taxi makes exploring the rest of Mahé simple, but for Beau Vallon itself your feet are enough.
