Getting married in Seychelles

A Seychelles wedding, run by the people who live here

Most couples come to us wanting a wedding that feels like a place, not a product. Seychelles delivers exactly that, a legal beach ceremony on white sand between granite boulders, recognised back home anywhere in the world the day it happens. We have planned hundreds of weddings on these islands with the same small local team, the same hands on your paperwork from the first message to the apostille. Elope for two or arrive with thirty guests. Pick a beach, pick a date, and we handle the rest.

WhatsApp gets the fastest reply. Email works best for sending your documents.
The short version. A Seychelles wedding is a legal beach ceremony recognised worldwide the day it happens, arranged by a local team that has planned hundreds of weddings here since 2016. All-inclusive packages start from €1,645 on Mahé, with Praslin and La Digue as alternatives. There is no residency requirement, the paperwork is handled for you, and you can elope for two or bring a group of guests.

The setting

Your beach, not theirs

We do not hold weddings in front of hotels. We hold them on the beaches we know, the secluded coves and north-shore lookouts and granite-flanked stretches that have not made it onto Instagram yet. No spectators on sun loungers, no someone else's pool party in the background. If you have something particular in mind, a viewpoint, a private catamaran, an off-grid bay reachable only by boat, tell us. We have married couples at sunset on a yacht, at the foot of a centuries-old takamaka tree, and barefoot at first light for couples who wanted the sunrise to themselves. Already married? We also arrange vow renewals and symbolic ceremonies, the same care without the paperwork.

The moments couples tell us they remember, on our beaches, not in front of a hotel.

Who you deal with

Three islands, one local team

We are based in Seychelles, not in an office abroad. Our coordinators live on the islands you will marry on. They know the beaches by the tide, the registrars by first name, and the florist who can deliver fresh frangipani on a Sunday morning. That is the difference. Not the lowest price or the longest brochure, just a wedding day that runs on time because someone local answered the phone six months before, and again on the morning itself. For couples based in the UAE and the wider Middle East we run the extra documentation tracks too, for interfaith marriages, mixed-nationality paperwork and embassy attestation. Tell us where you live and we will know what your registrar back home will need.

How it works

How your wedding comes together

From your first message to the apostilled certificate in your hand, here is how the day is built. The full document list is in our documents guide, and every price is on the packages page. For the whole road in twelve steps, including when you pay, how much and what happens if plans change, read how getting married in Seychelles works, step by step.

  1. Tell us your date and island

We check registrar availability, usually within a day, and hold your beach.

  2. Send your documents

Scan your passports and apostilled certificates to us at least two weeks ahead, and we lodge them with the Civil Status Office.

  3. Arrive and settle in

Come a day or two early with your originals, and we confirm the final timing of your ceremony.

  4. Marry on the beach

The registrar conducts your legal ceremony on the sand, everything set up and ready.

  5. Fly home married

We apostille your certificate at the Supreme Court the next day, so you leave with it already in hand.

The whole trip

Beyond the ceremony

Book just the wedding, or hand us the whole trip. We arrange flights, airport transfers, guest houses and resorts, inter-island ferries, a scenic helicopter ride, and a honeymoon week once the rings are on. If photography and film matter most to you, meet the team on our wedding photographer page, and if you want to explore the islands yourselves, we rent automatic cars from €45 a day on our car rental page. One local team plans the wedding and the holiday around it, so nothing falls between two companies.

Common questions

How much does a Seychelles wedding cost?

An all-inclusive beach wedding starts from €1,645 on Mahé, €1,990 on Praslin and €2,090 on La Digue, per couple with every government fee included. Photography, film and styling are optional extras. The full breakdown is on our wedding packages page.

Is a Seychelles beach wedding legal back home?

Yes. The ceremony is a full civil marriage conducted by a government registrar, and your certificate carries a Supreme Court apostille, so it is recognised in more than 120 countries. You leave the islands legally married.

Which island should we choose?

Mahé suits most couples for its airport and beach choice, Praslin is for couples who want Anse Lazio, and La Digue is the barefoot, car-free option. Each island has its own guide linked below, and we recommend honestly since we marry couples on all three.

Do we need to live there or stay long?

No. There is no residency requirement, so you can arrive as visitors and marry within days. A few days is plenty for the wedding, and most couples stay on for the honeymoon.

Can we elope just the two of us, or bring guests?

Both. Many couples elope alone and let us handle everything, including two witnesses at no charge, while others bring family and friends. We build the day around your numbers.

What documents do we need?

Each of you needs a valid passport and an apostilled birth certificate, with a divorce decree or death certificate where a previous marriage applies. We check your exact list against your nationality. See our documents guide.

Only six guests, so we expected a quick shoot. He stayed five hours and said every wedding matters the same, it is your day. Four years on, that beach photo is still our screen background.

Our trip was delayed and the wedding moved by five days, yet they rearranged everything around us without any fuss. Our papers were prepared for both Germany and Myanmar, the photographer spoke German, and I could change dresses for the photos. A pink gazebo on the beach, just as we dreamed.

We flew sixteen people from Australia and needed it flawless. The photos arrived on a hard drive engraved with our names. When my mother fell ill and could not travel, they edited a whole album just for her.

We wanted our Russian traditions, the bread and the salt, and they had researched every moment so nothing was missed. They even found the stretch of beach where we first met, years earlier.

Ours was a Hindu ceremony with a western reception, and they knew exactly when each ritual would happen. The priest barely noticed the camera. They even tucked a traditional Indian sweet into our welcome box.

Our day opened with a tropical downpour. They already had a plan, moved us into the plantation house, and reshot the beach the next morning for free. In the film you can hear the rain on the roof during our vows.

We changed the date three times and they were the only supplier who never charged us extra. He knew exactly where to frame the Coco de Mer palms, and the drone footage over the water is breathtaking.

A small, intimate day with eight guests, and they carried the logistics so we did not have to. The sunset colours in our photos are exactly how it felt. Warmly recommended to any couple.

It was the wedding of our dreams, on a private beach on Mahé, and it was absolutely perfect. Our papers, the stylist and the photographer were all taken care of, so all we had to do was enjoy it. We called just to say thank you.
