★★★★★ 4.5 (59 Google reviews)
✓ Verified listing · Official Seychelles Tourism registerVilla Creole is a small self-catering villa at Anse Réunion on La Digue, and it holds a lovely 4.5 from around sixty guests. Reviewers on island-hopping trips repeatedly name it their best accommodation of the journey, and more than one adds that it is much nicer in person than it looks in the photos. Comfortable, well equipped and warmly run, it is the kind of place guests say they will definitely come back to.
The units and the pool are a real highlight. Guests describe spacious, clean rooms with everything they needed, a great bed and a lovely shower, and some units come with their own private pool and an outside shower, singled out as perfect for rinsing off and cooling down after returning hot and sweaty by bike from one of the island's beaches. It is well equipped and comfortable, and the little pool turns an ordinary self-catering stay into something special.
The hosting and the breakfast add warmth. A host named Sarah is described as the perfect host, thoughtful enough to ask guests their ferry times and let them keep the room later without even being asked. Breakfast, where included, is served on your own private veranda, and guests call it the highlight of the day, with fresh-cut fruit at the top of the list. Bicycle rental is available on the premises, so exploring is easy to arrange.
For location, Villa Creole is very conveniently placed, close enough to the town and the beach to reach both on foot or by bike, in the leafy Anse Réunion corridor near the old L'Union Estate. The staff come in for warm praise as excellent and very friendly. Between the comfortable, well-equipped units, the private pools, the caring hosts and the handy setting, the 4.5 rating reflects a relaxed, characterful villa that guests genuinely love.

On our island hopping tour this was the best accomodation. Much nicer than it appears in photos. Very well equipped, comfy bed. The little pool and outside shower is perfect when returning sweaty by bike from one of the beaches. We will definitely come back.

We loved this place! Our unit had a private pool and access to bicycle rental on the premises. The service was great and if you include breakfast, it gets served on your private veranda of your unit. The room was spacious and clean, with everything we needed. Very convenient location, close enough to the town and beach

Anse Réunion is the green, settled stretch of La Digue just south of the ferry village of La Passe, and it forms the gateway to the island's most famous sight. A short walk or cycle brings you to the old L'Union Estate, with its coconut plantation, giant tortoises and the path down to Anse Source d'Argent, the pink-granite beach that appears on so many postcards, so a base here puts that celebrated shoreline almost on your doorstep. Back the other way, La Passe has the shops, bakeries, restaurants, jetty and bike-hire, and the whole car-free island, from the calm western beaches to the wild sweep of Grand Anse in the east, is easily explored on two wheels. The Praslin ferry takes about fifteen minutes.
