Anse des Genets sits on the east coast of Mahé at Pointe Larue, right beside the international airport. That location is the point. The terminal is about a five-minute walk, and Denis will drive guests who have an early start. Despite the closeness, the spot stays calm. Anse Royale and its longer beaches lie a short drive south along the coast road. Victoria, the capital, is roughly fifteen to twenty minutes north by car. A rental car helps if you want to explore the island, but for a single airport night it is not needed. Taxis and the main road are close at hand.
