The best view from a bedroom and bathroom that I have ever had! The room itself is of a very high standard as well. And there is an infinite pool. Very steep hill to get there.

I spent a weekend with my family of six.We had an incredible time. The lower middle room for four person was more than suitable and very clean. Glacis runs along the steep, scenic north-west shoulder of Mahé, between the busy beach of Beau Vallon and the island's northern tip, and Sorento sits high on the hillside above it. This is a place of dramatic elevation and sweeping outlooks, where the roads climb sharply and the reward is a panorama over the bay, the sunset and the string of granite islands offshore. Down at sea level, small coves such as Anse Nord d'Est and the pretty beach of Carana lie close by, while Beau Vallon, with its long sand, restaurants and dive centres, is a short drive south, and the capital, Victoria, is around twenty minutes away over the hill. A hire car is the natural way to make the most of this elevated, view-rich corner of the island.
