Anse Boudin sits at the north-east end of Praslin, one of the quietest and greenest corners of the island, right next to Anse Lazio, which is regularly named among the best beaches in the world. It is about twenty-five minutes by car from the ferry jetty at Baie Sainte Anne, and boats to Curieuse island and its giant tortoises leave from nearby. The Vallée de Mai, the UNESCO palm forest where the coco de mer grows, is a short drive inland, and Anse Georgette is on the west side of the island. Praslin is reached by a quick flight or the fast ferry from Mahé, and a hire car makes the most of this quiet end of the island.
