Glacis runs along the northwest coast of Mahé, north of Beau Vallon and a short drive from Victoria. The villa's beach is right in front of the house, so the water is a few steps away rather than a drive. Beau Vallon, with its longer stretch of sand, shops and restaurants, is a quick trip down the coast. A hire car helps here. The coast road runs past the door, which makes Victoria, the north tip and the beaches easy to reach, and it also explains the traffic noise guests mention. For a stay this close to the sea, most found it a fair trade.
