I've been travelling all over this island and I find this hotel to be the most gentle and soft. The colours are pastel, light blue, green, white, brown and pink. Anse Gouvernement lies on the north coast of Praslin, at the eastern end of Côte d'Or, the island's main resort beach, a long, gently curving bay of pale sand with calm, shallow water that is safe for swimming. The Côte d'Or strip, with its shops, dive centres and casual restaurants, is a short walk or drive away, and many of Praslin's boat trips, to Curieuse, Saint Pierre and La Digue, set off from the bay. Anse Lazio, regularly named one of the best beaches in the world, is a short drive north, and the Vallée de Mai palm forest lies inland. Praslin is reached by a quick flight or the fast ferry from Mahé, and a hire car or the island bus makes getting around easy.
