About Hilton (Seychelles) Northholme Resort and Spa
The villas are the point here, many with a private pool and a deck looking straight out over the water and a small private lagoon below. Guests describe impeccable cleanliness, a real sense of seclusion and views that go on forever, and enough repeat visitors mention their third or fourth stay to tell you the place earns its loyalty. There is a spa, restaurants and a house reef for snorkelling off the rocks.

Glacis is on the north coast of Mahé, a green and rocky stretch a short drive beyond Beau Vallon, about twenty-five minutes from Victoria and the airport. It is quiet and residential, with the dive centres, restaurants and long beach of Beau Vallon close at hand and the snorkelling of the north coast right below the resort. For an intimate, romantic clifftop resort with real privacy and strong service, it is an easy one to recommend.

The Area
Glacis is a quiet, rocky stretch of the north coast of Mahé, just beyond Beau Vallon at the northern tip of the island, about twenty-five minutes by car from Victoria and the airport. It is a green and residential area of hillside homes and small coves, with clear water and good snorkelling straight off the rocks. The long beach at Beau Vallon, with its dive centres, restaurants and Wednesday food market, is a few minutes away, and boat trips to the Sainte Anne marine park leave from there. Mahé is the main island, with the widest choice of beaches and restaurants, and a hire car is the easy way to reach them along the north-coast road.
