✓ Verified listing · Official Seychelles Tourism registerFadine Self Catering is a small, family-run set of self-catering apartments right in La Passe on La Digue, just a four minute walk from the ferry, and it holds a perfect 5.0 from around eighty guests. One couple called it the perfect ending to their honeymoon, and the theme that runs through every review is the same, arriving here feels less like checking into a rental and more like being welcomed by relatives. Hosts Esma and Fabio are the reason people rate it so highly and remember it so warmly.
The apartments live up to the welcome. Guests describe big, spacious, very clean rooms with a great shower and a fully equipped kitchen, all new and in perfect condition, and repeatedly single out the value for money as excellent. Whether travelling as a couple or with a baby and family, reviewers say the cabins have everything you need for an easy, comfortable stay, with nothing left wanting during their time on the island.
The hosts are the heart of it. Esma and Fabio, former nurses, bring that same instinct for care to their new work, described as super hospitable people who take care of any tiny need right away and always with a smile. They are flexible and understanding, hurrying to ready a room for guests who arrived early one morning, and cook delicious home-cooked dinners on request, a real bonus on an island where dining options are limited. Between them they speak several languages, including English, French, Creole, Macedonian and Italian.
The location seals it. Fadine sits close to the centre and the Main Street, and only a four minute walk from the ferry jetty, so arriving with luggage is effortless and everything in the village is on the doorstep. Guests leave describing the best vacation, treated like family throughout, and the flawless 5.0 rating is honestly and thoroughly earned by a place where the people make all the difference.

Me, my wife and daughter stayed here for two nights in late January, 2025. The house is near the port, the rooms are very nice and clean, the price is great, and Esma and her husband are very friendly. We ordered home cooked dinner on January 29, and Esma made such delicious meals for us (shown in the pictures). Highly

Esma and Fabio treat you like family, they are wonderful hosts who really make you feel at home. As former nurses the level of care they offer has definitely translated over into their new careers. As for the room, it is a very good size and everything was clean. The kitchen facilities are adequate. Like other self-ca

La Passe is the small, car-free main village of La Digue and the point where the ferries from Praslin arrive, a place of bicycles, ox-carts and almost no traffic. To be based a few minutes from the jetty, as here, means arriving and leaving with luggage is simple and the whole village, its bakeries, small markets, cafes, restaurants and bike-hire stands, is right on your doorstep. From La Passe the famous Anse Source d'Argent, reached through the old L'Union Estate plantation, is a short and scenic ride south, while the wilder beaches of Grand Anse and the east lie a little further out over the green interior. The Praslin ferry crossing takes about fifteen minutes.
