Chloe's Cottage sits close to L'Union Estate, the old coconut and vanilla plantation on La Digue that leads to Anse Source d'Argent, routinely called one of the most photographed beaches in the world. La Digue is a small, slow island where the bicycle is the main way to get around, and from here the estate, the beaches of the south-west and the village of La Passe are all an easy ride away. Boats arrive at La Passe jetty from Praslin in about fifteen minutes, and with no big roads and few cars the calm is much of the island's charm.
