Totally recommend! BEST accomodation, exelent furmitures, cleannes, exuiped kitchen, taras and aircon. Au Cap sits on the south-east side of Mahé, a settled residential stretch of coast rather than a resort strip. The calm-water beach in front is the main draw, and reviewers put it at around 100 metres from the door. A fruit store and a takeaway stand close enough to walk to, which helps on a self-catering stay. Public buses run along the coast road and taxis are easy to arrange, so a hire car is useful but not essential. Victoria and the main ferry jetty are a drive up the east coast. The simplest arrival is the complimentary transfer from the airport or ferry, which the hosts arrange, so many guests skip a car for the first day at least.
