The property sits on the hillside above Grand Anse on the west coast of Mahé, away from the shore and surrounded by garden. The setting is quiet, which is the point of staying here, but it does mean the beach is not at the door. Guests are clear that a car is needed to get around, and with one the drive to Grand Anse Mahé, Baie Lazare and the other west and south-west beaches is short and easy. From the airport and Victoria the drive crosses to the west coast. A car turns the quiet hillside location into a base for the wilder beaches nearby rather than a limitation.
