The villas are beautifully designed, spacious and impeccably kept, set into a green hillside above the bay, each with its own pool and view. Guests describe the resort's beach as magnificent and private-feeling, and the setting as extraordinarily peaceful, with only birds, waves and nature to be heard. The food is excellent and varied, and there is a spa and the calm that comes with a resort built into a hidden corner of the coast.

Anse Louis is a quiet, sheltered bay on the south-west coast of Mahé, one of the greener and more secluded parts of the main island, about thirty minutes by car from the airport and Victoria. The coast here is calm and beautiful, a run of hidden coves and forested hillsides that holds some of the finest beaches in the country, with Anse Soleil, Petite Anse and Anse Intendance all a short drive away. The water on this side is clear and good for swimming and snorkelling, and the craft studios and small restaurants of the south-west are close by. Mahé is the main island, with the widest choice of beaches and restaurants, and a hire car is the easy way to reach this quieter coast.
