from 0 review
Overview
The Hyundai Grand i10 is the five-seat automatic to rent in Seychelles, at €55 per day from SeyBooking.com. Five seats, five doors, a 256-litre boot and around 5 litres per 100 km, and it is one of the very few cars we can put on both Mahé and Praslin at the same daily rate. Free delivery to Seychelles International Airport or the Baie Sainte Anne jetty, insurance and unlimited mileage included, no deposit and no credit card held. A single day of 24 hours or less is €110, charged as two days.
Why the Grand i10
The Hyundai Grand i10 is the car to take when there are five of you. It is a proper five-seat, five-door hatchback with a 256-litre boot on a 3,765 mm body, which makes it small enough for Victoria and the coast road but big enough that nobody is folded into a corner. Between the 1.2-litre Kappa engine and the automatic gearbox it pulls up La Misère and Sans Souci without drama, and it returns around 5 litres per 100 km doing it.
The reason we push this one harder than its price suggests is simpler than the specification: it is one of the few cars we can put on either island. Most of the fleet is Mahé only. If your trip is three nights on Mahé and four on Praslin, the Grand i10 is the car that can meet you at the airport and again at Baie Sainte Anne jetty, at the same daily rate, without you learning a second car.
It sits between two cars you may also be looking at. The Suzuki Celerio is €45 a day and cheaper to run, but it seats four and is Mahé only. The Suzuki Brezza is €65 and gives you SUV height and a much bigger boot. The Grand i10 is the middle: five seats, five doors, a real boot, and no compromise on where it can go.
This car is automatic, air-conditioned and cleaned and checked before it reaches you. There is no deposit, no credit card held, insurance and unlimited mileage are in the rate, and delivery is free to the airport, the jetty or your hotel.
Picking the Grand i10 up at the airport
Car rental at Seychelles International Airport works differently here than it does in Europe. There is no rental desk to queue at in arrivals and no airport surcharge on the rate. We bring the Grand i10 to Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) on Mahé, or the Baie Sainte Anne jetty on Praslin, hand over the keys and the paperwork, and you drive out. Delivery and collection are free, at any hour, and if your flight is delayed the car waits, because we watch the arrival rather than the booking time.
The rate is the rate: €55 per day in 2026, insurance and unlimited mileage included, an additional driver at no charge, and free cancellation. There is no deposit and no credit card held against the booking, which is the part most visitors ask about first, because most international rental companies block several hundred euro on a card before they release a car. We do not. You pay cash or card when the car reaches you.

What guests say
The rental experience our guests get on the ground, from car condition to airport and jetty pickup and support.
Renting a car through the website was very simple and practical. On Mahé, the car was handed over to us in spotless condition, and we had no issues at all during the return process. A very reliable company.
The whole process was smooth from start to finish. The car was clean, reliable, and perfect for exploring the island. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive whenever we needed anything. Pick-up and drop-off were easy, and the prices were very reasonable compared to others we checked.
The support over WhatsApp is exceptional. Cars are clean and in very good condition. We had the car dropped off right at the airport terminal, so no taxi or bus for the transfer. Pay cash or card on arrival. Easy, fast, perfect.
Questions guests ask
The Hyundai Grand i10 at €55 per day. It is a true five-seat, five-door automatic with a 256-litre boot, small enough for Victoria and the coast road but not so small that a fifth passenger is a problem. Its real advantage is reach: most of the SeyBooking.com fleet is Mahé only, and the Grand i10 is one of the few cars available on both Mahé and Praslin at the same rate, so a split trip does not mean changing car class halfway through.
Yes, and there is no charge for it. We deliver to Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) on Mahé free of charge and meet you after you clear arrivals, so there is no rental counter to queue at and no airport surcharge added to the €55 per day. On Praslin we deliver free to the Baie Sainte Anne jetty or to your hotel.
€55 per day in 2026. A single day of 24 hours or less is €110, charged as two days. The price includes insurance, unlimited mileage, an additional driver, free cancellation and free delivery. There is no deposit, no credit card held and no booking fee, so the figure you are quoted is the figure you pay.
No. SeyBooking.com holds no deposit and no credit card against the booking. You pay cash or card when the car is delivered to you. Insurance and unlimited mileage are already in the daily rate.
Automatic. This car has automatic transmission, so there is no clutch work on the hill roads.
Yes, and that is the main reason to choose it. Most of our fleet is Mahé only. The Grand i10 can be delivered on either island at the same €55 daily rate, so a split Mahé and Praslin trip does not mean changing car class.
Five seatbelts, and four adults travel comfortably. Five adults is fine for a run across the island; five adults plus five large suitcases is not, and for that you want a bigger car.
256 litres with all five seats up, which takes two medium suitcases and soft bags. Fold the rear seats and it takes considerably more, but then you are down to two seats.
Not on Mahé, where you can book from a single day. Rentals that start on Praslin have a three-day minimum, which applies to every car on that island, not just this one.
A single rental of 24 hours or less is €110, charged as two days. From two days onward the rate is €55 a day.
