Beautifully located holiday home with a fantastic view for up to 6 people above the wonderfully wide bay of Anse A La Mouche on the west coast of Mahé.
The space
The house is the ideal starting point to visit the most beautiful beaches on Mahé (Anse A La Mouche, Anse Soleil, Petit Anse, Anse Takamaka, Anse Intendance, Anse Gaulettes, Anse Royal, Anse Louis). It is in a quiet location with a separate (steep) driveway.
From the terrace you have a wonderful view of Anse A La Mouche.
Towels and bed linen are provided.
Each bedroom has air conditioning, a fan and a mosquito net for each bed.
Existing kitchen appliances: kettle, toaster, rice cooker, microwave, sandwich maker, mixer, hand mixer and a filter coffee machine.
We provide one beach towel per person, so it is advisable to bring another beach towel with you.
There is a baby travel cot and a baby seat in the house.
Guest access
When the house is booked, it is completely available to you, it does not have to be shared with other guests.
A mobile WLAN router is available (credit must be topped up on site for a fee). To do this, you have to buy a SIM card from Cable & Wireless, for example, and top up credit (it is advisable not to watch videos and films online – high data volume consumption). In the garage there is a WEBER grill which can of course be used (charcoal must be organized yourself. This is usually possible in supermarkets, but in any case in the STC Hypermarket in Victoria). If you feel like it, you can connect the garden shower and take a shower outdoors.
A hammock invites you to relax!
Other things to note
Children up to 2 years of age are free, children and adolescents under 18 years of age pay a lower price as an additional person. When booking, please state the number of guests and the age of the underage children in the booking text. I will then adjust the booking amount downwards accordingly!
The beaches can be reached on foot in about 25-30 minutes, by car this is only possible in 5-10 minutes.
A small corner shop is above my house, where you can get almost everything for your daily needs. You can walk to the shop in 5 minutes. Directly below my house on Anse A La Mouche there are 2 small shops, a vegetable stand and a cold store with fish sales (no regular opening times, so please inform on-site).
The final stretch of the way to the house is via relatively steep, sometimes very narrow streets.
