With five tasteful holiday units, renovated in 2014, the Charlotte Villa welcomes its guests with a wonderful ocean view. Located to the south of Anse Royale, in Takamaka, and above sea level, this location is really all about lying back, relaxing, enjoying the view, and allowing the wonderful beauty of the region to remove all of the stresses of daily life. But it is not just the peace and quiet of the area that is appealing. There’s plenty to enjoy looking at too, with lush vegetation contrasting with the blue sky, and wonderful, tropical sunshine providing plenty of bright light to help you enjoy the scenery. All that’s left for you to do is sit back on your own private balcony and sip on a coffee or a cool drink, fix your eyes on the horizon, and enjoy being on holiday!
Although the Seychelles are famous for their good weather, and you will generally spend most of your time outside, the interior of the villa here also has plenty to offer you during your holiday. There are five separate holiday units here that possess a relaxed atmosphere for your stay. Depending on which unit you decide to stay in, you will have either a spacious double bedroom or a well-equipped self-catering apartment for up to four people to enjoy, along with a living/dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are all decorated in a contemporary Creole style and are spacious, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Rich but unobtrusive colours characterise the inside along with wood, while the white walls of the villa frame the rest of the accommodation nicely. There is also a television that you can watch from the comfort of your bed, which isn’t a given in the Seychelles. Therefore, after enjoying a walk along the beach at sunset, you can relax into bed and enjoy a film, with nothing standing in your way. Should thirst strike, the minibar is also within easy reach of here. In the bright, spacious bathrooms of the villa, guests will find a WC, bidet, double wash basins and shower with mosaic design, ensuring you have everything you need to freshen up each day. The accommodation also offers a 24 hour reception service, as well as a cleaning service, including change of linens.
Thanks to its excellent location, the villa offers guests the possibility to relax, as well as providing easy-access to a number of different excursion destinations and ‘must-sees’. Guests of the villa can reach various locations on-foot, for example the beach of Anse Bougainville, which is 400m away, as well as a small grocery store and a bus stop. Further beaches, including Anse Baleine (approx. 900m away) and Anse Parnel (approx 1.2km away) allow for further exploration. On the latter, the Surfer’s Beach Restaurant is highly recommended for a relaxing break, and offers direct beach access. Guests staying on Mahé should also ensure that they visit the capital, Victoria, during their stay. Besides the colourful market in the centre, there is much to do in the small capital city, with several charming sights and sounds to enjoy.
